Green Lantern

With Comic-Con only days away superheroes are pretty much every where.

Entertainment Weekly released a photograph of Ryan Reynolds as the Green Lantern.

Ryan Reynolds stars as Hal Jordan, a cocky test pilot who becomes a ring-wearing intergalactic superhero in this massive sci-fi epic from director Martin Campbell (Casino Royale). Reynolds isn't new to the superhero world with his role from X-Men as Deadpool.

Reynolds was lifted 60 feet in the air to create the illlusion of flight. "The first time you do it, you're seriously considering an adult diaper," Reynolds says.

Green Lantern hits theatres June 17th 2011

Christopher Nolan is bringing the Batman yet again to the big screen for a July 20th 2012 release date. Many fans wanted the joker to leave on by hiring a new actor to be the "new" joker. Nolan released a statement on his views of the Joker.
'For me, Heath was the definitive Joker, 'Nolan said in an interview to promote 'Inception,' his sci-fi thriller opening on Friday in the US. 'It wouldn't feel appropriate to readdress that character.'
Ledger died of an overdose back in 2008. It was devastating news for all the fans to hear of his death. He won a posthumous oscar for his role of the infamous Joker. 'The Dark Knight' was a hit at the box-office making billions.

Nolan hasn't casted a villain yet, but Bale will reprise his role as Batman.

Amanda Bynes Calls it Quits?!

Child actress Amanda Bynes has called it quits apparently. On her Twitter page she told the whole world she is done with acting - "I don't love acting anymore so I've stopped doing it."

Bynes last film will be "Easy A", which will be released this fall. I've seen a screening of this film and its hard to see Bynes play a different role. She is perky, but a bitch.

She began her career at the age of 10 on Nickelodeon. She was famous for her comedic role on "The Amanda Show". She also took part in "Figure It Out" and "All That."

Her career didn't stop there. She starred on the hit WB series "What I Like About You." She played in numerous roles on the big screen with Frankie Muniz on "Big Fat Liar" and Channing Tatum on "She's the Man". Her last big hit was working with Zac Efron on "Hairspray".

She's worked her way up the chain and now she wants to let it go. "Ive never written the movies & TV shows I've been a part of. I've only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play," she tweeted. "I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first. I've retired."

The vampire fan craze is becoming bigger and bigger since the days of "Twilight". I'm a vampire fanatic and hope "The Gates" is a promising show compared to "Moonlight" which was cancelled last year and "Vampire Diaries" which renewed its second season on the CW. "The Gates" does look promising, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

"The Gates" revolves around the Monahans, a family who have moved to the exclusive isolated community for a second chance. Nick Monahan (played by Frank Grillo) is the new chief of police and he thinks his job is to keep the peace, but he finds out that doesn't apply in all situations. His kids go to the local school and they find the neighbor kids are smart and complicated. His wife is just happy to have a fresh start and she's willing to remain clueless to have it.
You may be all too ready to dismiss what looks like another offshoot of the current "Twilight" craze. And while it's probably true that the show may have never seen the light of day without Bella and Edward, the social parody makes it more than just another vampire show. And, by the way, the only reason why a vampire longs for a human in the pilot is to suck their blood - as it should be.
"The Gates" airs Sunday nights on ABC at 10/9c

You might find them at Comic-Con this year. More info will be up on our site soon.

'Vampires Suck' Review

For those who've waited to have 'Twilight' turned into a spoof, well your dreams have finally come true. I just came back from a screening of 'Vampires Suck' and it was pretty funny. There are some awkward moments, but you finally have those moments you wish someone would call out on how Edward is a pedophile and how Bella is always constipated and pushing her hair over her ears constantly. Those bits and pieces make you laugh. There were some 'True Blood' and 'Vampire Diaries' moments, but the whole movie is around 'Twilight' and 'New Moon' put together as one whole movie. Did I mention Edward Sullen is so hot in this movie? He is and the young woman playing Becca is pretty cute too. The names have been changed from Bella to Becca and Edward Cullen to Edward Sullen. Oh! Ken Jeong is in this movie and some of the Disney actors as well.

'Vampires Suck' hits theaters August 18th 2010

Do you remember the oldie days of 'Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide'? Well then, if you do, Devon is now an artist and JustJaredJr. has the first glimpse of his new music video.
